Hugh Jackman has one message for the next Wolverine—and it's probably not what fans expected.

After playing Logan for more than 25 years and becoming the definitive live-action Wolverine for an entire generation, Hugh Jackman says he won't be passing down advice to whoever inherits the adamantium claws next.

Instead, he revealed that no one gave him guidance when he first stepped into the role, and he's grateful for that experience.

Rather than asking the next actor to follow in his footsteps, Jackman hopes they'll bring their own interpretation and truly make Wolverine their own.
